| I like that idea of using a white kitchen trash bag with drawstrings for stripping the pistol. It's a major improvement over the suggestion someone made about the Ortgies, which it was suggested should be stripped inside an empty broom closet with a flashlight nearby. That way, when (not if) the springs went flying around and broke the overhead light, you could turn on the flashlight and find them again! |

| [quote=DocV;392694]Mr. Tuck, If you don't mind my asking, what brand/type holster do you use? Welcome Home Sir . My outside the belt holster is a Triple K Model 246-76 it is a belt loop slide type holster . I also have a in the pocket holster because it fits in my jeans shorts pocket . It came from 511 and it is one of the holsters that fits in the vest is velcro all over and the flat piece that comes with it holds the holster in place and covers the outline . They are both covered in velcro so adjustment is excellant . Sorry I didn't answer sooner but I have been busy operationg a new < to me > gun store . Doc I have been in contact with Dennis and he said they just put their web site up in Oct. and it put them almost 4 months behind he also said he is putting on another cnc machine to help pick up the extra work load . | Tuck, Thanks for the response I appreciate it. I just got an e-mail saying the grips I ordered were shipped. It took me awhile to see your post because our connectivity goes up and down. I'll be home, home in another 10 days. R/ DocV Last edited by DocV; 01-18-2008 at 05:35 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
