| Senior Member | FEG FP9 or Walther P38 Any opinions about which is the keeper if you can't keep both?

| Senior Member | Well, the p38 is a post war (1960's) piece and really has no historical relevance. But it is a very nice pistol. The Fp9 is unfired and, of course can take hi-cap mags. The Hungarian Hi Power clones are excellent quality pistols as well. I was hoping to get opinions as far as accuracy, dependability, etc.

| Member | Walther p38 all the way. I got one of the restored cold war pieces from dansammo.com and absolutly love it. Fired about 2000 rds of Winchester FMJ (100 rd. Valu pack) and not a single malfunction. Accuracy is good, (i think i need a new barrel), and DA pull is stiff, but it came out of the box beautiful, obviously well stored, not a scratch, NO rust. 8 rd mag is plenty as long as you're a decent shot. |

| Senior Member | Thanks! I forgot about the double action of the P38. The FEG is single.
