Anyone ever heard of the FEG PPH that was imported by interarms? I just picked mine up last month and I shoot it a lot. I amd having some action jam problems with it, particularly FTF (failure to feed). Any suggestions?

Sorry...I can't help you on your gun...as you can see from my other posts here, I too have no information on my gun....Do you have a picture of the PPH? A .380, right? (From your other reply on this site)...I am interested in getting another FEG in .380, preferably compact like mine. Good luck in your search and post a pic of that gun!

Well, I think i fixed my jam problem. It wasnt the gun itself, although im sure my new recoil spring helped. The magazine feed lips are culpable for the jam, because after I bent the feed lips up with pliars at the front of the mag, the round stands up a little further in the mag and feeds better. Went to the range yesterday and shot 125 rds with 1 jam, and 1 stovepipe. Looks like my problem for the most part is over!!

This is exactly how my FEG looks, except on the slide it says "Hungarian arms works 9mm kurz 380 acp." otherwise it is identical. This is from the FEGARMY website. See the GRP

I am beginning to think that my R61 looks identical to pretty much all of FEG's handguns (I know it looks like the PA63): I am starting to wonder if the PA63 magazine would be compatible with my gun and what could happen if not? From other posts here, FEGArmy appears to be bankrupt.

PPH.
I have the PPH I got it about 20 years ago : )
As I recall I had to smooth the ramp with a bit of fine sandpaper but once that was done, 20 + years of reliable shooting. Once you get it broken in, you will be a happy fella. karl Last edited by Karlpph; 04-02-2008 at 06:53 PM. |

Well, I am not the original owner of this pistol. It was built in 1986, so it is about 22 years old too. I had the feed ramp sanded and polished, then opened the very forward tip of the magazine lips to make the round stand up more. Now it does NOT jam. At all.
PPH is a reliable CCW. I like it. |
