Feg Pa-63 Chipped Grip Handle (help) Hello, i've been reading this forums for a while but this is my first post... I was attempting to replace the springs in my PA-63 and accidentally chipped the handle right by the hammer. I just want to know if its safe to fire the weapon with the handle being chipped like that or do i need to replace it ?

don't think it will hurt any thing , if it bothers you replacements are not that expensive or a small peice of epoxy putty molded to the panel and filed smooth will make it about as good as new good luck these are great little guns jrh55

I think he meant the gun, not the chipped grip. Some guys hate small Makarov style guns. While some bite you a little, I've always heard good things about this gun. I had one and sold it before I even shot it. The guy loves it. I have a couple different 380's that some guys hate, but I've never had any problem. Go ahead and shoot it. Have fun.

Boomer, if the chipped grip bothers you, you might drop a PM to toolman. I believe he makes grips out of all sorts of wood for the PA-63. If he can't help you, try Marschal Grips. They/he makes replacement grips for the PA-63: Marschalgrips.com

| Grips for PA-63 I just bought some Rosewood grips off GunBroker.com for my PA-63. 29.95 was the buy now price plus 7.50 shipping. I can"t wait till I get them. I absolutely love my pa-63. It is my CCW since I recieved my permit. I changed out the recoil spring for a 15# spring and the hammer spring for an 11# spring. I polished the feed ramp with a dremel and have not had a hiccup with it shooting Wolf and American Eagle fmj. I am going to order some hollowpoint ammo from Georgia Arms soon and see how it feeds. At first I bought a UM #16 IWB, but did not like the fit- to big. I took it back and bought a UM #1 and am currently using it. I am still not real happy with the fit. Two questions ??? Where can I get a good IWB for around 30-40$ and secondly where are ya'll buying your ammo at online? I do not have the money to spend alot on a holster or guns and ammo for that matter. I'm not looking for something for nothing, just the best deal I can get for the money. The better half gives me a hard time everytime I buy something gun related. | For a holster I use a Bianchi Model 100 "Professional" Size 9. It's a nice leather holster in the price range you are looking for. You just have to shop around for the best deal. I think Cheaper-Than- Dirt carries them. I like it because the back side of the holster is contoured to keep the slide from contacting your body. I have never bought any ammo on line, so I can't help there. DocV |
