FEG PMK-380 SIGHT ADJUSTMENT? HELP! Howdy from Texas all! I just picked up a beautiful FEG PMK .380 for "CC". Does anyone know how to adjust the rear sight. I heard somewhere that tapping it with a small mallet would do it but I need confirmation before I mess up my nice little prize. Can anyone help me please?

The rear site should be drift adjustable, right and left, with a nylon punch and mallet. How far off are you? It's difficult to fine tune these types of pistols and they really aren't made for tack driving accuracy. If you can keep all the rounds in a paper plate sized area at 7 yards under rapid/stressed fire you are doing well. R/ DocV

Chris, Hope you have a good range session! I am not trying to be a smarta$%, but have you fired the pistol yet? If not, don't do anything to the sight until you see how it groups. I've had pistols where I would have sworn the sights were off just looking at them until I went to the range and actually fired it. You'd be suprised! R/ DocV

christoph, I hope you will not take this as an insult, but I am taking this opportunity to state the obvious. When you go to adjust the sight, please make absolutely sure that all ammo has been cleared from the weapon! A good day at the range is never finished with a trip to the ER. Robert

Howdy Doc, i just got back from the range and you were right! the sights needed no adjustment and this little pmk shot like a champ. at 7 to 10 yards under rapid fire i got groupings at 3-5" with remington jhp and even "monarch" ball. thank you again for your good advise and good shooting to you!
