| Member | I have a couple of the PA-63's they shoot great , mine like Barnaul 94 gr. hollow points no problems feeding very accurate , I did buy some 105 gr. silverbear , it would hangup in the mag and not feed after the first roud was stripped off the top of the mag , I have between 6 and 7 thousand through each of them and can't tell any differance than when I got them , only thing is after about 1,000 rds. I replace recoil spring just for reliability , oh by the way they were also made in 380. good luck and enjoy jrh55 |

| Senior Member | Soon after I got my PA-63 some time last year, I had to let the blister heal on my hand where the recoil bit into the bone area of my thumb before I could shoot it for a week or so. I decided to correct that problem and did so with some sand paper and a file. I rounded the points of the rear grip housing where the "bite" occurs. I tried a couple of variations until it felt comfortable. Now it shoot well, still recoils sharply due to it's design, but no more discomfort and blistering. Enjoy your pistol! Dave ![]() |
