Huckabee Bags a Bird in Iowa

Presidential contender Mike Huckabee bagged a pheasant Wednesday, offering Iowa voters the image of an experienced outdoorsman on the hunt, shotgun blasting and dogs braying. Just a campaign gambit? "Maybe it will show that I certainly understand the culture of being outdoors," Huckabee said. "It's not something we had to go out and get a primer in. It's very much ordinary to me."

Of course, this was a media event. Like everyone else, I'll be disappointed if he turns out to be like Romney, claiming to be a hunter while never having had a license...

Whoa here Huckabee is a hunter fellers and yea maybe it was publisity stunt but the point is he is not anti-gun and thats what you want isn't it ?

I like Huckabee but we saw a pic of John Kerry hunting 4 years ago and I wouldn't place him under the flag of pro-gun!

You never see these bozo's out at the range shooting a handgun do you? no they play up to the wealthy(midas shotgun) crowd not the real shooters.
