Thompson woos gun owners in S.C.

Fred Thompson is making a last stand in the Palmetto State and he’s counting on gun owners to deliver a high-profile victory to boost his presidential campaign.

As much as I like him and hopes he can make it, personally me thinks' he hasn't got a chance in hell. Nor does Ron Paul.

Didn't come close in either of the 2 caucuses and I doubt he'll finish in even the top 3 in NC? I could be wrong, wish and hope I was and am.

Don't waste a vote on someone that doesn't have a chance and take it away from someone else that does and can or might help gun owners. Any of them can say they will and NOT follow through or honor what they said to initially get our vote.

The only one's we can trust our other gun owners and ourselves. That's why we have to stick together.

I'm disapointed in Fred Thompson because he's been slow and seems unprepared.
And to my disbelief he's attacking Mike Huckabee.
I would vote for Fred if Huckabee wasn't running.

I'd like to see both of them become running mates, they both together would be better for our country.

After watching Fred on T.V. I can't picture him as a President...He doesnt seem to be very smart....sorry....A.H

Fred came on too little, too late. Too bad, I think he would have done a good job.

I heard something about him attacking Huckabee on this mornings news, morning of 1-11-08 that is there A.H.. The commentators suggested that maybe he knew he's on the way out and maybe wanted to help out Romney in doing this? Who knows. They all, media that is, talk outta the butt hole.

Agreed. It's too bad, but I guess running for president is something you can't do halfhearted. I think he's about ready to throw in the towel.

"Elvis has left the building!"

Fred just bowed out and bailed.
As Master Yoda said, "No, there is another . . . "

Y'all vote for Ron Paul - our last hope . . .

Afraid Ron Paul is our only hope. Possibly Mike Huckabee.
