| I look for definitions of "is" in the dictionary... and not make excuses or perjure like that waste of a President... her husband. The Democrats should truly see the Klintons as an embarrassment... even the Liberals are beginning to distance themselves from that family. |

| I'm embarrassed by the whole state of being of this nation right now..... We have idiot "celebrities" who make more $ than our teachers. We have an employment problem for hundreds of thousands of young people who get out of high school and who cant afford college, whos only choice is to join the military. Idiot media who teach kids the value of being "famous" rather than respected. Voters who still vote for "mainstream" candidates and think their "voice" is heard by crooked politicians in washington, with the media leading them all like the pied piper. We have a prison population growing out of control while more and more useless laws are passed to put more and more people into the new underclass of the poor and disenfranchised. The word "felon" now applies to alot more people than cold blooded murderers, rapists, and armed robbers-it can apply to people who are no threat to innocent people whatsoever. We have unfounded loss of personal privacy at the hands of corporations who trade your private details for money and keep track of "citizens" as if they were assets, not people. We have the wasting away of our true strength, our industry,by corporations who see only the bottom line and are allowed to send manufacturing jobs to foreign interests to save a buck instead of contributing to America with jobs and a strong industry.Once our industry was like a solidly built athlete, ready to spring into action when needed, now it resembles a cancer patient in their last stage of life, wasted away and bed ridden. A "popular" culture that is centered on a media hyped perception of the "inner city criminal",with its central agenda being the demonization of young men, young black men in particular, and the objectification of women, not to mention the glorification of gun violence that puts the whole country in a state of outrage and fear which perpetuates and legitimizes the critical situation of anti-constitutional laws and insane prison population numbers. We have illegitimate and anti-constitutional laws that prohibit dissent against this state of madness, otherwise called our current form of "government" and people in power who insist upon ever stricter laws that prohibit even speaking out about this status quo agenda which is growing ever more powerful in this country. We have a constant state of debt, due to the fact that a "citizen" of this country can actually own no real property,in fact, even if you have the deed to your own land,if you dont pay the tax on that land, you no longer own it,which in fact makes you a renter-not owner-of land. You rent it from your government, the same government that "citizens" trust to lead ther young people into yet another 3rd world country to "win more hearts and minds over to democracy".This is what they use their stolen booty for,to get us killed in their wars. We have pourous borders that allow foreign nationals to enter at will, some of whom pose no threat other than to drive down the working class wage by undercutting it with illegal labor, while the more serious problems posed is the infiltration of brutal third world criminal enterprises like MS13 or even the reintroduction of infectious and deadly diseases that had been deemed eradicated in this country. The most serious of threats being the possibility of NBC armed enemy soldiers just walking on in to do their dirty work against us. Of course, rather than enforcing our national sovreignity, reinforcing our borders, and enforcing laws already in place that are supposed to dry up the illegal work market in this country,AS WE HAVE OVERWHELMINGLY ASKED THEM TO DO,people in power are suggesting that we all submit ourselves to "REAL ID" which in fact creates an illegal,anti-constitutional national ID card.Achtung papyrus bitter! The good thing is,more and more people are becoming alert, and alarmed,by these and other nefarious, corrupt, and outrageous acts of greed and downright treason comitted against the people by those in power. I hope to see the true spirit of America come out some day soon, before its too late.I hope to see the people march on the white house and drag these userpers out into the streets for a good tarrin' and featherin'. I hope people will send in a bag of tea to the IRS rather than their "required" refund forms. I hope people will will simply stay at home in silent protest when we "get" to "vote" for tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum in this next election. I hope service men and service women will put down their rifles and protest fighting and dying in illegal wars for illegitimate government, and demand the rebuilding of true national power, our industry, from its current, wreched state. I hope people will stop paying attention to the talking heads that sway our national culture and boycott hollyweird and all its lies. I hope we will all become people with rights and responsabilities again, that respect each others' rights and demand the government do the same. I hope Americans realize that the only way to move forward in this "brave new world" is if we understand that national sovreignity is the only way to keep and maintain our traditional rights, and We The People are solely responsable for the national security and sovreignity of our country. We cannot entrust this matter to those in power, because they will trade our intrests for their profit,as has been proven time and again. | I believe every American citizen - And I do mean citizen has the right to own firearms. I don't recall seeing any "but" in the 2nd amendment. Are there people that "I" would rather not to have guns - sure (nuts and three time convicted felon losers). But, I just don't think the Bill of rights allows for that. It certainly doesn't allow for these liberal states (and whatever D.C. is) to violate the rights of American Citizens by banning guns or certain guns. I would like to see a state try to ban free speech - see how far that went.

| Interesting point Silver-these rights are all encompassing,it is either all or nothing.Either we are citizens with rights who handle our own problems or subjects without rights that cry to the leaders to "do something". |

| Larry O. I agree with most of your posts but I especially agree with this one. How could anyone read George Washington's words and not understand that the Second Amendment is an individual right of the people.

| Mym1a, you forgot to add that Hillary should control all the guns as she knows what is best for all the people. She, in her all knowing wisdom will decide if she needs to issue a gun to anyone. And yes, this is pure sarcasm. Sorry, but just reading about Hillary brought it up!

| That lying bi**h needs to be in jail with her husband. He is a pardoned felon (Jimmy Carter, imagine that ?!) and she is no better. Between the shady real estate deals and all of the Klinton staff that turned up dead... tell me there is nothing to it? |

| The forum banner said who should own guns, I like Kenningsaw Georgia's answer every one that can legally do so. When the town passed the law that everyone had to own a gun and ammo the crime rate went from 26 homes robbed to 0 after a year the news media went back and talked to the chief of police and asked about the crime rate after the law was passed and he said what crime? |

| Yes, and the crime rates in neighboring 'gun-controlled' towns went UP! The crooks went to the 'path of least resistance'. ![]()

I sent this to : Violence Policy Center 1730 Rhode Island Avenue, NW Suite 1014 Washington, DC 20036 phone (202) 822 8200 As a 14 year member of the U.S. military, I swore to defend the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution states: Amendment II A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. In addition to this, the father of this Country, George Washington stated: "A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The Church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens firearms are indelibly related." Do you recognize these statements? If not, you should. Read and know your history. As far as I am concerned... you are not an ally. .... please, now feel free to speak your minds and inundate these idiots with reality. Last edited by LarryO1970; 02-18-2008 at 04:11 PM.
