Mr. Obama would do well to take a close look at the history of the civil rights movement, which featured an organization of black firearms owners that went a long way toward keeping the white supremacists at bay and insuring that the civil rights movement was
civil and not rudely and bloodily punctuated with the wholesale murder of freedom riders, black activists and outspoken black leaders. If blacks had not been able to carry arms while the white racists could, just how far would the civil rights leaders he so loves to portray himself as the successor to, have gotten? Can you say

If anyone on the forum needed a reason not to vote for him that has nothing to do with his race, religion, ancestry or middle name, here it is. McCain is no prize pig, but he's loads better than Obama in the matter of Second Amendment rights.
