This is common for Norm Dicks. He is just one of the many do-nothing jack-a**es that "represent" Washington citizens; as you notice I use the term as tongue-in-cheek. He's an ultra-liberal, socialist democrat who thinks he knows best what the people want. Why he keeps getting re-elected is beyond comprehension; of course he "serves" the Tacoma area where we have tons of welfare babies and illegal aliens. Restricting gun rights is right down his alley.

Norm Dick is no different than the other Liberal, socialist, elite politicions like Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Washington state is is a liberal's dream. Present liberal governer was "elected" (very dirty chit involved in that "election") by a very slim margin. She might just get her ass beat next time around and once that happens, we can get some good conservatives in all the other offices. Having said that, the other side of the coin is that there are almost as many Conservatives living here. This is a good place, run by bad people. ... instead they are chasing around baseball players about steroids and other silly crap like this... you are very right, Congress does need to get their act together and work for the people on matters the people care about at the Federal Govt level.
