GGReporter: Sir; I just forwarded my grumbling to Rep. Robin Hayes from NC
He has been a supporter of outdoor enthusiast. Should he respond?

This is common for Norm Dicks. He is just one of the many do-nothing jack-a**es that "represent" Washington citizens; as you notice I use the term as tongue-in-cheek. He's an ultra-liberal, socialist democrat who thinks he knows best what the people want. Why he keeps getting re-elected is beyond comprehension; of course he "serves" the Tacoma area where we have tons of welfare babies and illegal aliens. Restricting gun rights is right down his alley.

You Washington folks have to vote him out of office and elect someone who will listen to the constituents rather than tell them that he knows what's best for them.

I am curious as to how one Representative plans on blocking an administrative function of the Executive branch. Guess he thinks he is President! This must be one conceded SOB.

Norm Dick is no different than the other Liberal, socialist, elite politicions like Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Washington state is is a liberal's dream. Present liberal governer was "elected" (very dirty chit involved in that "election") by a very slim margin. She might just get her ass beat next time around and once that happens, we can get some good conservatives in all the other offices. Having said that, the other side of the coin is that there are almost as many Conservatives living here. This is a good place, run by bad people. It appears that is the case almost everywhere, now days. Makes my ass crave buttermilk! JB

With the overwhelming amount of murderers, robbers, and overall up to no gooders that are out and about, any attempt to keep people from carrying firearms, is the product of an evil, or non functioning mind! We should be able to carry wherever we please, regardless if it's a National Park, or a Water Park. Mr. Dick is just that.........

If I remember right, standard operating procedure in the Bush Administration has been, "damn the funding; full speed ahead!" Are they willing to call his bluff, and let him risk being the one responsible for shutting down our National Parks?

As the article said, "As chairman of the House Appropriations interior subcommittee, Dicks oversees the National Parks Service’s annual budget and is in a position to prevent the administration from dropping the Reagan-era ban."

... instead they are chasing around baseball players about steroids and other silly crap like this... you are very right, Congress does need to get their act together and work for the people on matters the people care about at the Federal Govt level.

Baseball is a game, politics should not be treated as the same.
