... not to mention an entire military pissed off at them, that surely cannot help their cause to get back into the White House... unless they pull their usual stunt of not counting the military voters...

| Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee expressed their commitment to the second amendment and the rights of the people to keep and bear arms. Unfortunately the real American candidates didn't get the nod. I think a Huckabee/Paul ticket would have been a great asset to the U.S.A. |

McCain is a wimp when it comes to doing what needs to be done. He has more ripples than a washboard but, of the three, I fear he is the better choice.

Frankly, I'd re-evaluate the war and reposition some troops around Afghanistan and pull out of Iraq in phases with competent Iraqi replacement troops. Either they are competent or they die, period. It's their country, not ours. Constitutional and the Bill of Rights are forefront... there is no room to negotiate. We are our greatest interest... to make friends is not a guarantee of national security. Mexico needs to stand up to immigration issues and we need to fall back into isolationism... to be self sufficient with industry and fuel needs. This will aid in the creation of the jobs needed to aid in the economic recovery of OUR great country. I am not pro-amnesty... aliens need to become legal just like the rest. Those currently in our country... there is obviously a problem there that cannot be retracted. Those may have to be amnestied while all others need to become citizens the way we used to do it... unless someone else has a better idea. Speaking of... re-open Ellis Island... create jobs that way and use the structures already in place to support immigration. The people need to take the Govt. back from rampant greed and unethical behavior. To give the people back their vested interest in the success of our Country, not just the Govt. The success of the people should be equal to the success of the country. I've said my peace... in this early Monday morning...
