D.C. Officials Weigh Keeping Semiautomatic Pistols Illegal After Blanket Handgun Ban

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court's repeal of the ban on handguns in Washington, D.C., may be a boon for a segment of the firearms industry whose last major windfall might have been in the heyday of the Dirty Harry movies: those who make and sell revolvers.

I honestly don't see how they can do that. But I'm sure they'll try anything.

I...don't see that one going too well for them, considering the pwnage the SCOTUS just handed them.

Question Who Decides my Needs

Marine1: Sir; it amazes me. I copied my thoughts from another thread.

Adding to my own thought;

Give each of us our own protection.

Be held accountable in Court when you fail. We are held accountable at the highest level, therefore;

Imposers of said Rulings are to enjoy the same accountability; Without Question.

Question
My question:

Who is to say; what is reasonable.. Lawyers, Politicians, Courts,

Who defines my right to reasonable? ''Criminals''?

I carry SW 638 cause the ''cop'' was too heavy. Make ''cops'' lighter and I'll have one with me instead of the 638

When Federal, State, County, or City Officials refuse to follow a Supreme Court ruling why are they not prosecuted?

I think they oughta send the paddy wagons down, load 'em all up, and take 'em all in, and charge them with felony stupidity!

I think the best thing that can happen after the SCOTUS ruling, is for the D.C. dumbasses to pursue this. THe court will slap them down and add even more momentum to the rising wave of rollback.

SCOTUS HAS DRAWN THE LINE. It's only just begun.

A person who knows.....right on target, my friend! This is why the NRA is going to need all the financial support it's members can muster to reaffirm in the courts "the second amendment right stands firm", as SCOTUS ruled. We are dealing with people in power, who "are flying with bent props". As I said previously...look for many court battles on this subject, regardless of it being frivilous, or not. To them..they have "not lost"...as it's been one of their priority "pet-peeves", for decades...to disarm America. They have been ignoring standing court rulings for years, (other than decisions in their favor).... we have all seen them violate the judicial system of current standing laws previously, and add a "spin" to it, during the Clinton years. This is a ruthless gang, no matter how you slice it, in order to get power and their way of thinking as to how, you and I should live out our years, and how the U.S. Constitution should be interpreted.

Stand by my friend, it will surely get quite a bit more...amazing, once the lawsuits start rolling into the court system, by either side.
