Binational task force seeks ban on popular semi-autos
A binational task force on U.S. Mexico border issues will call Friday on the Obama administration and Congress to reinstate an expired ban on popular semi-automatic firearms.
The Washington Post just won't give up, will it? They are recycling - or is that regurgitating? - the same discredited report that came out earlier this year that claims 90% of Mexico's illegal guns originate here. You remember; the report that a real investigation proved only about 13% of all guns confiscated in Mexico originated in the United States, mostly pistols.
The response to the Mexican government ought to be the same as I suggested at the time: that Mexico's problems are Mexico's problems, not those of the United States. Solve your own problems. Don't expect America to solve them for you by attempting to dictate what American law concerning firearms ought to be.
Or, to put it in the venacular, "Screw you Mexicans and the burros you rode in on. Don't let the doorknob hit you in the butt on the way out."
Obama and his admin. don't need the Washington Post to remind them. I'm sure they have a calendar and there is a day circled where they plan on doing it anyhow.
But yea, some anti-gunners just won't give up.
