Missouri: There'll be no guns on Raymore City Council

Raymore city council members, check your guns at the door.The council voted Monday to uphold Mayor Juan Alonzo's veto of an ordinance that would have allowed members to carry concealed weapons during meetings.The tally: 5 in favor, 3 opposed. Six votes were necessary to override the veto.

Good, If they deny that right to the ordinary citizen then they should be held to the same standard.

I bet the first time that some whacko runs in there with a gun they'll find that 6th vote, of course there's always the possibility that they won't have enough voting members left.
