7lb Largemouth Bass

Caught this 7lb bass today out of the huge pond in the woods behind my house! Biggest one I've ever caught so I had to share some pics with yall. I also caught two more that were 5lbs each, so I had a heck of a day.
Oxford, jerry, BaserRonin and 6 others like this.

Thumbs up

Probably has a belly full of eggs, too. Did you keep it or release it?

Two pronouncements, both official:

1--Nice fish, you are to be congratulated.

2--Now I hate you! You bigger-fish-than-me catchin' neophyte, you!

Thanks guys! Caught him on a big 10.5" black Zoom worm, fished weightless in about 2 or 3ft of water. It was a successful catch and release, she swam away like nothing even happened!

Haha, it's either the same one, or i caught her twin. It's a big pond, 250yds long, 80 yds wide, but it could happen.

Nice fishing. Clip a fin before you release them and you will know next time you haul one in.
