Does Anybody Fly Fish?

Do any of you fly fish?

I know some are passionate about it. Me, I would fish anyway I had to . . . spincast, bait, fly, telephone pole, whatever. I have been fly fishing for about 30 years thanks to my dad's friend. I even tie my own flies. I'll be salmon fishing next month in Michigan with a fly rod.

What about you guys?

Yeah, well used to. I would go up to Grayling Michigan a few times a year to fly fish.

You bet I'm a fly fisher & tying nut. I even built my 1st graphite rod last winter. It's a Rainshadow 9 1/2 ft, 9 wt for bass. Caught a nice 19" LMB earlier this year with it. Anybody want to swap some flies for bluegills & bass?

I've spent my share of time in Montana streams. Nothing like a good Rainbow Trout...

Been fly fishing near 35 yrs. Bream, LM & SMBass, and have caught a lot of others too. My favorite with the fly rod though is by far River Smallies then them big ole Bluegill's. Haven't done any though in about 3 yrs. Always wanted to get into fly tying but never did!

Hey there i'm new to this forum and was very happy to see the fishing thread! Im learning to fly fish, but we play in the salt down here. Hooking up on a nice red on the fly is great!

Tried it a couple of times but had a few problems with the trees. Spent more time untangling the line then fishing. Other than that it was fun.

Love fly fishing, just got back from a trip up the snowy mountains, will add pics later.

Another awesome day.Started at the suicide hole on the eucumbene river.Man it was cold,my line stuck to the guides on my rod hahahahahha

The sun just peaking over sawerys hill

There are so many bloody rabbits at this place. If you stand still for awhile they come out of the ground from everywhere. Its a crime they cant be shot.

We also did a quick mission up to 3 mile dam, what an awesome little dam.But it was very windy and cold up there yesterday.

This was taken from a protected side of 3 mile dam.But very hard to cast fly with all the trees

Had a look at another spot on our way back to the eucumbene river

Gang gang creek was lots of fun for my mate bobo.He hadnt caught a trout on fly before and caught four small brown trout

A small creek on the way to the eucumbene river near proidence portal. We saw plenty of trout but they were very hard to catch.

This section on eucumbene river was on fire with rises. My mate caught 2 rainbows here.Since i have been fishing fly for years and have caught plenty of trout on fly i was the guide/spotter/video recorder for the day.I did fish but wasnt real keen to get wet again.Deffinately need waders.

There must be some massive brown snakes at this place. This skin wasnt small. This is just part of it

Bobo with the last trout he caught yesterday. You could have put a turd in his mouth and he would have still been smilling.
