Where i live its usually rainbow trout, occasional brown. Jacks and walleye are around too. My fav is the walleye has a good flavour that you can add too.

Local fish that is my favorite is Lake Perch! *smack* mighty good eating ma'am. From all over either red snapper, cod, halibut or redfish.

Catching, local fish would be King Salmon. Never had a chance to fish muskie but would love to try.

Missouri fish= crappie, walleye, goggle eye [rock bass], white bass, pumpkin seed [perch/sun fish/pan fish], crawdads, paddle fish [spoonbill], bullfrog legs. Large mouth bass, just kidding, fun to catch, I catch and release.
Ocean/sea fish= grouper, mahi mahi, tilapia, shrimp, lobster, crab, orange roughy, scallop, sole/founder, cod, shark.

Favorite fish to catch would be a striped bass or hybrid. Love the fight!

Fishing in general would be catfishing. I like just sitting back and relaxing. Not too fond of the non stop casting that black bass fishing requires.

Usually don't catch em big enough but a blue gill perch is hard to beat on the table. Love those crappies too.
