Bass Pro or Cabelas ???

Hey guys. I'm probably gonna order a Pflueger President off of Cabela's or Bass Pro's website. I just dont know which one. I wouldnt want my reel to get damaged. Which one is better with shipping? Who's faster? Which one would you order from. Thanks

I've ordered quiet a bit from Cabela's and I've never received anything damaged yet.

I never bought anything from Bass Pro so I can't help you with them...A.H

Mine is on order from

Bass Pro Shops yet I must admit I have seen the same high quality service from each firm. No problems, good packing, reasonable delivery times
on a variety of fishing gear.

From my experience I feel you will be more than well pleased with the Pfleuger.

I ordered a large fishing tackel box from Cabellas. It arrived damaged on one corner. They said it was the shippers fault the shipper (UPS) said Cabellas did not pack it well enough. Never got a replacement or anything back from either one.
I ordered a spinning reel from them and it arrived damaged. They again said it was the shippers fault. They refused to repair or replace it. It was shipped in a hard plastic case. It was bad before they even shipped it.
I dont order anything from them.

I have ordered thousands of dollars of fishing tackle over the years from both companies. Never a problem with either. Order from which ever is cheaper

I don't like to order because of the problem of shipping damage. I also kinda like to actually see what I about to pay for, yep, been ripped off in the past.
I do like Cabela's better because it seems that they're more hunting inclined. I don't fish much anymore.

U.S. Post office.

I have had the U.S. Postoffice loose shipments before the last was in march and got a damaged Priority mail box that had $186 worth of door cables cost $23 to ship and all I got was.................... Nowhere......................Inshure it if you do and use these jokers.
otherwise make a good size order & use UPS or Fedex.

I've ordered from Cabala's, nary a problem. Been to their store too the merchandise is good but the "sales staff" leaves a lot to be desired, If you want to buy from them, do just as you would on-line, study the product and compare the diffirent manufacturers learn all you can about the product you want because the sales staff don't know their A$$es from holes in the ground IMHO.
