| Replacing century L1A1 butstock? Anyone know what US made parts century uses on it's L1A1 rifles? I want to replace the the horrid century buttstock with a british Mil-surplus one if it is legal.

| It varies as to what they use. You can email them with your ser# & they can tell you which parts are made in USA. I did this about a month ago & they emailed me back two days later. My L1A1 had U.S. made gas piston, hammer, sear, & of course the terrible thumbhole/pistol grip stock & they said the forearms although they look like the original British to me. I printed out & kept their email for proof when I change out the stock. I guess I'm lucky, never had any problems with my rifle so thinking about parkerizing & putting ironwood stocks on to dress it up. |
