Markings by selector lever Fn Fal

Ok I know the obvious S means but what does the "E" and the upside down glass symbol mean on the selector mean?

I believe those are just on the Austrian STG58's, not sure of the actual words they represent, i've seen them spelled out before...some long Austrian words.
