IF A KIT IS NOT MARKED HOW CAN YOU TELL IF IT A INCH OR METRIC?

Inch guns have paddle-style selector switches, breeching washers, and no stud for the pistol grip. There are other small cosmetic differences, but these are the ones that will stand out. Other things to look for are taller sights, folding rear sights, and detent gas adjustment ring. The H/T/S geometry is slightly different, too.
