| Top cover for L1A1 I'm getting ready to mount some pretty serious optics on my L1A1. I've noticed that there are tons of replacement top covers with rails that you attach your scope to. They range from $59 to almost $150. I know some are light and will not allow your scope to hold zero very well. Anybody use one of these mounts and can recomend one before I spend to much or take the chance of getting one of these flimsy ones. Thanks! |

| If you're working on an FAL, DS Arms is the place! there are still a lot of good surplus parts out there that can be used, but for new stuff, especially trigger groups and gas pistons DSA makes the best! I went retro on my workhorse L1A1 and installed the top cover mount and S.U.I.T. Trilux optics. It doesn't have a lot of magnification but it's a great combat sight for the L1A1, it was basically designed for that rifle.

| That mount that someone posted for me from DS Arms looks great. I will use that one for a larger scope. I found a SUIT scope for $249 that I'm going to get this month. They really look like great scopes! Thanks! |
