Luxembourg FN-49

Picked up a FN-49 last week. It's a Luxembourg contract ser #19xx. Tried to post the pick here, but don't know if it worked. Took it to the range, and it functions well. Adjusted the gas regulator, and it cycles properly. Flings brass pretty far. One problem I had was that I had to adjust the rear sight up to 5 to get on target at 100 yds. I had read that they made different size front sights for these rifles. The front sight is stamped .72 which I think is the tallest front sight. Are there other sizes readily available, and is this something I want to think about changing. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

A lower front sight will raise the point of impact.Gun parts corp.(Numrich) lists replacement sights , but they aren't always available by the catalog I have.
They did not list any different sizes...Look at <www.e-gunparts.com>.
