| The serial number of my Stg 58 have been modify. the original serial number it was XXX051, but inside the 0 there is a 1, so now the serial number is XXX151. The number have been change on all the parts instead the barrel that still have the original serial number XXX051. I noted this modification on the serial # also in other STG 58 rifles. My question is: 1- This modification have been made in the factory after some repair or rifinisched ? why the barrel still have the original numbers ? 2- where i can find the manufacture date on the rifle. Thanks Ciao Ric.:confused |

| Re: another question Quote:
Are you talking about the # on the upper receiver or #'s on the rest of the rifle ? Legally , the # on the upper receiver is the only one that matters in the USA . Wyr God Bless | |
