Fal Questions out the wazoo

First off on a local site i found this ad.

*****Selling a project i dont have time for:

Century FAL - It had a catastrophic failure and broke the bolt/bolt carrier and deformed the Upper Receiver. Had this confirmed by DSA Arms and these are their recommendations to make it go again.

Selling Gun ( as it sits non-working ) and plenty of extra spare parts in case you want to change the look

- You will still need a new bolt and bolt carrier and and upper receiver ( all are readily available )

Gun has plenty of US made compliant parts ( Grip, Butt Stock, Forearm, Flash Supressor, Trigger , Hammer , Gas Piston, Op Rod ) and is on an Imbel Lower Receiver.

I'm treating it as a big FAL Parts kit -

$ 400.00 or Best Offer - will take cash or discrete paypal ( plus 4%) ***** How much work and cost will a upper be? Is this deal work a krap? I want a project gun thats gonna be a project but nothing outta my reach. I just msged him about weither its Inch or Metric if that matters.

Its metric but comes with a inch lower also

well did you end up with the rifle or what...? At 400 you could make a good shooter for not that much money.

I wouldnt touch it for that price...I can buy an Imbel kit with everything Except the upper Receiver for 300 to 400 bucks...
