I sometimes work with idiots

I work with a guy who just bought a cetme and is so chicken s*** he won't learn how to field strip it.
Can somebody post a web site with a good exploded view so I can get this DUDE on track?
he gets misfires and shallow primer dents, we're figuring cosmoline or a slow hammer- He hasn't even taken it down for a full cleaning yet, he's had it for 2-3 months

did he get it brandy new out of the box??? i have read many reports that these are full of crap from Century's assemebly monkeys metal chips, gunk, and who knows what else.

even so they need occasional maintenence, besides cleaning proper lubing too.

wait a while, when the rifle finally refuses to work, declare it defective, and offer to take it for a cheap price, as a favor

Exclamation Clean it very well before shooting it !!!!!!!

:uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

My G3 (CAI) came with a lot of crap inside, lots of metal shavings (about 1.5 teaspoons of metal shavings crap), I cleaned it very good but forgot about the flutted chamber which resulted in extraction problems, as soon I did a very good chamber clean, all the problems were gone.

Pay special attention to the flutes in the chamber, and scrub them really well.

The monkeys at Cai are very sloppy and don't clean the rifles before assembly and stick the rifles in boxes and ship them to the gun stores who don't bother to check or clean the rifles before they sell them to you!

clean every gun and lube it properly before shooting you never know who had their hands on it and you would never want to shoot a crud covered toy it could lead to a tradegy.
