| I guess so. I've got 10 of them right now. I've seen them at gun shows for $.75 each before. |

| Main reason is that nobody's using them anymore. AK mags are certainly more common in the world, but people still use those. The countries that used G3s are now using 5.56 caliber arms.

| Would you guys mind posting a link to where you're seeing them for less than a dollar a piece? Or are they only that cheap at the gun shows in your area? There's 50 on Gunbroker for $79+shipping, but that's after the guy dropped it from $89 when it didn't sell. I'd love to get a bunch of cheap ones for my new CETME and paint 'em up with some real-tree-like camo, as I've seen also on Gunbroker. |

| Cheap G3 mags They are aluminum (or "alloy") and plentiful. Better steel ones can be had for (depending on source) $1 to $4.00 more each from a few Shotgun News adds. They work OK but seem so delicate when you are used to steel mags. For an extra dollar or so, get the steel ones. And don't drop the alums on the feed lips! They work fine in my CETME. |
