| CETME and hkG3/hk91 parts? hey guys, I bought a cetme a while a go. It's a century arms international one. The dealer I bought it from kept it real nice. It was in his private collection. I believe that it is an eariler one the weld marks are very smooth, no spot welds on the rear sight etc. The wood is very nice too. Which brings me to my question. I would like to save the wood on this rifle. I plan on hunting, plinking (as much as I can with a 7.62nato lol) and just plain old using the crap out of this rifle. I WAS WONDERING DOES THE CETME AND G3/HK91 SHARE THE SAME BUTTSTOCK/FOREARM? If so I was going to pick up a cheap set and put in on my rifle. thank you! |

| Man!!!... You got a great-looking rifle there! Like you said, the welds are very smooth and you even have the STANAG scope mount 'thingy' on top of the receiver. As for them being the same stock, yes, they are almost the same... BUT, there is some modifications to the spring or spring guide-rod that I'm not sure exactly how it's done. That's only if you use the WHOLE rear stock setup with the rod, buffer and spring attached. If you get just the wood stock and want to put that on the CETME rear buffer, that won't work, since they are misaligned; one higher than the other. There is a list here: http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/g3-...html#post89308 (G3 v. Cetme)

| Just A Car. Thanks for the link and input! I'll do some more research and post if I do decide to go ahead and attempt to install a hk91/g3 composite stock my CETME. |
