Learned that way over 10 years ago! Works well and steaming in the husk makes the corn taste much better than boiling the ears do!

Remember when microwaves first came out how they were only used to heat coffee, and everyone kept a cup of water in them? That was the rule, keep a cup of water in the microwave, I don't know what law of physics it would break without the cup of water. But I guess they started making microwaves better cause now you don't have to keep a cup of water in them LOL.

When they came out my Uncle got one. He cracked an egg and put it on a paper plate to show my dad how they could cook an egg. The egg cooked but it stuck to the paper plate LOL.

Dad still uses it to heat a cup of coffee.
