| harvesting lettuce
im growing some red lettuce and i have a question, how much/ many leave is safe to harvest off a single plant without it hurting the growth of the plant? any help will be great.

^no, its not a head of lttuce its like one stock with lettuce leves growing out of it in all directions.

i usually try not to remove more than 1/3 of the leaves, pick from the outside in, and as you pick more leaves will grow in the center of the plant lettuce comes in leaf and head styles
