I''l have to post some new pictures. The garden is out of control. Everything is growing so fast (including the weeds) I can't hardly keep up with it. We have cucumbers, peppers, onions, and carrots running out our ears. Our green beans haven't started producing yet, and our tomato plants are loaded but we've only had a couple ripen so far. Another week and we should have a ton of ripe tomatoes.

It's cool to be able to see everyone else's gardens. Looks good guys!

LOL jtuck! I know exactly what you mean! Between being back in school, working, family and keeping up on gardens and property it seems my gardens change so fast weekly I just cant keep up!

If the sun would come out for more than a few days in between all the rain we've had around here since spring I might get some red tomatoes! I have green beens and tons of zuchinni already. My sweet corn is pathetic this year, but all the area corn is pretty spotty this year so I don't feel picked on LOL!

Pesky rabbits wiped out my jalapenos, mixed bell peppers and my edamime soybeans... in turn I have wiped out around 15 rabbits although I believe their Army is still strong and I am still way out numbered LOL! Resorted to germ warfare and using special spray that is supposed to repell them from eating the plants and causes them to sneeze and runaway according to the bottle... didnt seem to prevent them from finishing off the soybeans however! I just gotta get more fencing up next year!

Everyones are lookin' good... get your cameras out guys I know for a fact there are more gardeners here at G&G!

I think you could get away with making funnels out of the fencing, as opposed to sealing the area off. If you leave gaps with snares, the rabbits wont try and work around it, they'll go through it. My buddy does this in his suburban area, no room to fire a gun safely. Not sure if you want to get into all that, just thought it might save you on some fencing. Also, piano wire works well for a rabbit snare, if you didnt want to lay out for a bunch of them.

Good idea codeNshoot! Being a country boy at heart, I find setting up snares, building hunting blinds and stands to be things that I would call "fun"! LOL I think many of us here share that sickness! I havent put together a snare trap in years, that may be pretty fun... now if I only had the time LOL!

I am noticing less and less rabbits actually coming up around my house area where the gardens are. I think they may be getting the hint or are just being sneaky and coming in at night but my plant loss is finally over and I cant tell where they are eating on anything.

Fencing can get expensive, but its worth the good stuff as it will last. I put up a fence around one of my large gardens 5 years ago and it still works well and I try to keep veggies that are known favorites of bunnies planted in there. I have a problem however that I am a tinkerer and every year add on a bit to my gardens LOL!

thanks for the tip, I may just have to find some wire in the garage and make a few snares!

VERY impressive guys. clearly I can never post my whimpy little plants here. My garden just never took off the way I wanted it to. Everything pretty well burned up with the exception of my cherry tomatoes. Maybe next year the whether will cooperate a little more.
