C.H..Turn it..Ha...I've never turned it. That's the beauty of the thing. Every time I water the garden I spray water on the compost pile, too. Enough is put there to keep it actively rotting if/when the sun shines.

You'd be surprised how much that pile has composted by late October when it's thrown over the tilled soil and then tilled in thoroughy.

It's placed next to the garden for convenience in getting it on the garden.

Also...the chicken wire next to the garden is attached at one corner so it can be unwired from one end and pulled completely back the other way allowing easy access to the compost pile. That makes it easier to get it on the garden.
