| snap bean question
wife was given 2 gobs of snap beans. some of them have areas of brown on them, like they layed in the dirt and got discolored. are these ok to eat or should i throw out those???

Those spots are a contagus disease !!! If you touch them your little finger's will grow to 24" Long permenitly !!!!!!!!!

Snap peas are great tasting, and they grow quick. I tried them in the sun and will put them in partial sun from now on. Those are just discoloration spots and if you steam them they should be OK. I use some nylon string for them to run up.
