Thumbs up

Sounds like a fine start, Jesse! Covers all the bases, once you add a rimfire rifle and pistol.
It's amazing the fine guns a guy can find for a decent price, with a little looking.

Aren't they even cheaper by the dozen? Sounds like a good buy to me. :right:

Sounds good, but I would substitute a Mauser or Mosin nagant for the Enfield. Enfields are great, don't get me wrong, but ballistically the Mausers and Mosins are farther ahead, and they are more inherently accurate. Parts availability is as good if not better, and ammo is cheaper.

And I'm not sure how much $$$ was allotted for the revolver, but if a 9mm, 40, or 45 caliber auto pistol can be had for less than $250 (The Bulgarian Arcus Hi-Power comes to mind) I'd take it over a revolver for the same price, IF it was my only handgun. But revolvers are nice, one may well be my next handgun, when I hae $$$ again.
