best peep sight for a lever gun

Looking for a peep sight to put on a Winchester 94 Trails end. I was wondering how much increased accuracy you get as opposed to regular iron sights and which is the best one for ranges out to about 100 yards.

Thanks

I'm a 94 fan as well. I don't know an answer to your question as I have never had to shoot over 100 yards with it (South TX brush country here)...can't see over 100 yards. Maybe I can come up with some brand names for ya though and then you can check their websites. Let me get off duty and I'll check from the house tonight.

Thumbs up

I tend to like the old fashioned styles on lever guns. My Marlin 39A is wearing a Marbles tang-mounted peep sight. It did require a taller front sight blade, and looks really good. It came with three sizes of apertures, for which type of shooting you want. Mine currently has the "medium" hole for general; purpose, and there are a smaller "target" peep and a larger "hunting" or "ghost-ring" peep.
This sight also required drilling and tapping a second hole in the tang.
Accuracy is improved, and it doesn't interfere with the handling or grip to a great degree. It's a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it.
For closer open-sight bunny-thumping, it folds down and I use the flip-up barrel mounted U-notch sight.

No problem - kind of a weird screen name anyway. For those wondering, it is the name of the small community were I grew-up in Mississippi. Howard is the real name.

Gald to here the website helped. Those sights are quality built with a very fast sight pic. They make some cool scope mounts as well.

Have fun!
