Dream gun

This has probably already been done, but if you could pick any gun with any modifications and accessories to fall out of the sky and land in front of you (undamaged) what would you pick? Pistols or rifles, in production or out, assuming cheap ammo for all, etc.

For me: Steyr Scout with full camo and an ATN ELCAN SpecterIR infrared scope.

Total cost for this would be about $15,000 or more, including taxes and shipping. Not gonna happen in my lifetime.

I realize that I could accumulate $15,000, but I would want to give it to charity, not blow it on some gun. Sure, it would be nice, but wouldn't knowing that you had helped a lot of people in a third-world country be better?

I've taken the first step...
A semi-auto large bore arm with long barrel, full length one piece stock, pistol grip, and brass furniture. The ban's death now allows me to install a 10rd tube mag.

It's the kind of thing I wanted for my first modern gun, but wasn't made. Now I know enough that I can do it myself based on a Remington 1100 shotgun with 30" barrel.

Thumbs up

A cased set of the original Harry Sanford designed Automag pistol, with uppers in .25AMP. .357JMP and .44AMP calibers, along with two boxes of SuperVel ammo in each caliber and a full set of reloading dies.

Well, a guy's gotta dream!

Holland & Holland Royal Crown grade .700 nitro express with two sets of extra barrels in .375 H&H(of course) and 20GA. The ammo would be a little rough though, those .700 NE are $100 each, as in one! $1000.00 per box!

Springfield M1A with camo synthetic stock, full length weaver rail, national match quality fluted bull barrel, 90degree mounted aimpoint red dot and 4-12 x 55 optics,
25 round box mags and a harris bipod.

Fully adjustable trigger with compensation for overtravel.

That's a legal california item except for the clip.... If it were to be ANYTHING I wanted, it would be:

Barrett M82A1 (or SASR for you jarries) with 3rd generation nightvision.

DSA's SA-58 carbine with a Leatherwood 12-24x50 scope.

2nd choice - Barrett 82A1 semi-auto .50cal with Leatherwood 12-24x50 scope or 4th gen NV scope on either.
