60+ Days- 1 Firearm- 2 Handfuls of ammo?

So lets say for arguments sake you get stranded for about 2 months+. Somewhere like....I don't know....Russia or something. Some where with woods and mountains yet also has some large openings. All you have is your knife, dwindling supplies, and the clothes on your back.
You only have one firearm and 2 handsful of ammo-ok large handfuls . Thats it. Could be any firearm, pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc...
What firearm would you want by your side, and why?
And what amminition would you want to have with you?

EDIT-why can't I post on my own #!*#ing topic????
Yet I can post on everyone elses

I'd have to go with a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag. Fast handling carbine 18" barrel. For ammo I'd go with 240 grain soft points

Edit to change mind

:right: I think a 22 would be the best as you can defend yourself and gather small game plus, the report is less than other choices i've seen and, you can get a whole lot of 22 in two hands. Plus, the rifle and ammo are light and useful in almost all situations if you are a good shot!
