Scoping an S&W 617

Dunno if this is the right spot for this, but I'll bung it here anyway.
I,m thinking about mounting a Leupold 4x28 EER, using Leupold mounts and rings, on an S&W 617.
Main usage will be for target and plinking.
Would appreciate any thoughts on this. (alternative brands of similar quality etc.)

A good choice! I highly reccomend the Leoupold 4X28 EER.
