| Virtually no factory gun is ready for serious use. Some come a lot closer than others, like the "fully loaded, alloy compact Splds and Kimbers,but even they nearly always need a bit of tweaking, or if everything really is done, and done right, they cost way too much, at least, if bought at retail. Brown, wilson, Baer, etc, pay their workers $15 an hour, never even look at the guns themselves, get the parts from the same places you can, and go on African safaris with YOUR money. The 'extra" $100 an hour, diff between what YOU pay and what they pay the guys who actually work on the guns. |

| i'd say my glock 20 was ready out of the box. Glocks are notoriously reliable and 10mm is plenty big enough for most anything on this content. Not like the ancient 45.
