Question New Rock Island TCM?

I dunno when this gun come out if it was last year or comeing this year, but it's interesting. 1911 platform shooting a 40 grain 22 TCM at around 2000 fps. This round was specialy designed for this gun from what i have read, shortened 223 from what i understand. Plus it comes with a conversion kit to switch to 9mm (not a bad idea just incase the 22 TCM doesnt pan out). I know 1911's are "supposed to be 45's" but this sounds like a perfect little range gun.

So is this gun in stores now? Anyone seen/fondled one? Or better yet anyone shot one?

Came out last year.
At first, you could only get the ammo from Armscor, but now you can find it in a few other places.
By the way...no conversion kit. It's a barrel swap out and that's all.
Slicker than snake snot!

I like the idea of it, like the idea of two barrels even more

Interesting to reload...which would be the best way to do it...
.223 bullet shoved in a 9mm case, I believe

Thanks for that info JetGirl. So you would suggest the gun to someone wanting an economical range gun on a 1911 frame?

It's a decent choice for that, yes.
