Just got done bidding on a Dan Wesson Pistol Pack. It's a .357 with 4 barrels, 2.5", 4". 6". and 8", the tool you need to swap them out, and a nice case with all the instructions. Had to bid over one G, too!

Man, back in the 70's a friend of mine bought one of those kits, but not in a fancy schmancy case like that. At the time I thought he was nuts, I didn't realize the quality they are and how those kits would appreciate. I lost track of him many, many years ago, but I bet he sold it cheap.

DWFan is totally right, DW disease is almost as bad as Black Rifle Disease. That Pistol Pac you show has the full underlug shrouds. You can also get similar length shrouds with half lugs. There are a number of different grips, the front sights on some shrouds have switchable inserts in black, white, red, and yellow. You can switch the blades on the rear sights. You can get vent rib barrels and barrels with scope mounts.

I've seen the pacs like that one priced at $1250 to $1500 at shows. Next show I saw the same guy at, they were gone. I don't have a kit, but a real nice revolver with a 6 inch and two four inch barrels. There are a couple of different tools for the things, and don't forget the feeler gauge for the barrel/cylinder gap.

If you get it, the gap is critical, as is the tension on the barrel when you tighten the nut. They are very accurate if you get things done right, and the bluing is on par with the top level Colt and S&W blues of the past, unless someone hasn't taken care of it.
