Do you like rifle based pistols?

I'm talking handgun versions of the AR, AK, M1 Carbine, FAL, and such. The ban has killed most of them, but when it passes many will be legal again. Thus far the only legal ones have been the Oly Arms OA-98, the Carbon 15 pistol, the SW-89 (MP5 based pistol), and fixed mag versions of the AR and AK. But it will soon be legal to build heavier, handguarded AR, AK, FAL, and other types of pistols, so long as the receiver is made as a pistol (called a "virgin" receiver that has never had a stock.)

So would you guys go for any?

my striker is based on a rifle and i love it. but that is a bolt.
i know someone who has an AR pistol and i have shot it several times.
way to loud, too much blast. and you can't hit the braod side of a barn with it if you where in the barn with the door shut.
the rounds are way to hot for such a short bbl. and if you down load them to get any kind of accuracy, the action doesn't work.
