Longer barrel for a Ruger P89

Is there a slide/barrel kit to make a P89 a 5.5" or 6" barrel? Would like to get a kit to do it since it would be cheaper than buying a new long slide pistol or DE.

Not sure about specific length, but FAC has extended and threaded or extended and ported barrels for many common pistols. If you got a threaded extended one, you could possibly make a slide flush extension on which to mount a site farther forward, or have one made. I've seen such things on 1911s and Hi-Powers.

My concern is if it will pass WI 5.5" barrel law for deer hunting. Rather use a pistol to put a deer down than finish it off with a .300win at close range. I cant just watch it die slowly. Rather make it quick.

Not sure what prices would run, but perhaps you might consider a Commanche single shot pistol in 410/45 Colt.

You could also get a drop-in 6" barrel for a 1911. Much better for deer than a 9mm Ruger P89.

FAC charges $95 for an extended and threaded barrel for a P89. If that isn't long enough, you could attach an extension or a brake. Depending on applicable laws, that may likely count.
