Question Aguila IQ cartridges

anybody checked this stuff out ?. I thought Triton Quik Shoks filled this particular niche. Quik Shoks are the third major design of Tom Burczinski..who brought us the Hydra Shok and StarFire hollowpoints. Any thoughts ?

I know the IQ slogan on the box is BS. They claim it is the first "intelligent" bullet. The basis is the fact that they tend to expand rapidly if they hit a soft material, and don't if they hit something hard. The thing is, many older rounds, such as Glasers, do EXACTLY the same thing. A hard surface will cause the nose of the rounds to collapse inward, preventing hollowpoint expansion. It is like those goofy Subaru Outback commercials, where they kept claiming it was the world's first Sport Utility Wagon. They may have invented that name, but the first high ground clearance, 4WD station wagon was the AMC Eagle, which came out 25 years earlier.
