Para Ords are fine handguns, just be prepared to pay well for them. Used ones can be amazing deals some times.

Too rich for my blood, and friggin' Illinois doesn't allow concealed carry, so I just got a full size SA 1011A1 GI in stainless.

Actually, you can usually get a new Warthog at a dealer for $650-$750 if you shop around enough.

I like the regular 1911 models, but they are a bit too big to carry for CCW, in my opinion.

Too big not as in caliber, but as in physical size. Anything more than 6.5", in my opinion, is too big to carry around concealed. Like walking around with a pup-tent in your pants. I don't want people staring and asking questions. hehe.

The whole point of it being "concealed" is so that people don't know it is there. I like a gun that fits in the small of the back, has a thin stature and is easily accessible and maneuverable while still being safe from accidental discharge. While the 1911's fit some of these, they do not fit them all, in my opinion.

Thanks for the mocking though...it is appreciated.
