Llama Omni .45acp. I bought it used, cheap, and it didn't take long to figure out why. It felt great and looked cool and was accurate as all get out, BUT, It started firing double shots. Almost every time you pulled the trigger it would fire twice. The first one would be POA and the second one would be in the roof. If I could have found parts to fix it ( a sear and hammer ) I probably would have kept it. But I was honest with a guy at a gunshow and he still gave me $175 for it. I only lost $50, and considered myself lucky!

None, yet. So long as my wife doesn't find all the new pistols we've "always had."

It's a toss up for me. Either the Hi-Point C9 Comp because the trigger is horrible and I can't hit anything with it or my ex-Swith & Wesson SW9VE. Now that gun was ok except for the trigger, horrible just horrible. Such a heavy trigger that it would throw off my aim every time and kill my finger. Traded that sucker away.

my dad just got a sw9ve. he hasn't shot i yet but i told him that everything i read said it had a horrible trigger

I bought a pellit pistol a long time ago (8yrs or so). it was huge as all get out and had he worst accuracy. decent trigger. I chucked it into a tree trunk after a pellit bounced off a tree and popped me in the leg.

Did he buy it because it was cheap? Thats the reason why I bought it. This was all before I learned to do research before buying a gun. Thou, maybe they've fixed that issue since then, I can only hope.

And on the Hi-Point, yes the pistols I would not recommend but the 9mm carbine is a fantastic gun and that I highly recommend to anyone.

Pistols are ugly but I think the carbine has a natural beauty about it.

yeah he bought it because of the price. it isnt going to be a range hog or nothing. mainly a self defense weapon for his house. i didnt even know he was getting it until afterwards or i would have invited him down to where i live to go to the local range because i believe they have one for rent.

To me, the Hi-Point Model 995 always looked like the result of a one night stand between a Thompson submachine gun and a Kel-Tec, especially if you have the compensator mounted. But it's absolutely reliable, eats anything and will take nearly as much abuse as an AK-47. And if the synthetic stock is not to your taste, ATI makes an aftermarket drop-in stock for it that transforms it into a near visual copy of the Beretta Storm. I've never understood why anyone would want to do that, but people do.

But I'm still holding out for the Model 4595 Hi-Point keeps swearing they're going to get onto the production line any day now - for the past two years! The reason it hasn't appeared is the 995 is so popular, Hi-Point can't keep up with the demand and can't divert production time to produce the 4595. I think that design will be a delight in .45 ACP. The only way I'll buy the 995 is if Slick Hillary or Saint Barack is elected.

An Armscor 1911 imported by hi standard, slide doesn't like to close all the way after a shot... Also my Republic Arms Patriot .45, thing wouldn't eject right and it spit lead all over the place. I sold the Patriot, but I'm holding on to the 1911

LORCIN .380

Before I was into guns back about a decade or so. I bought a Lorcin .380, My first gun purchase. It jammed every 2 to 3 shots. If I took the return spring out and stretched the heck out of it, it would feed great for about 5 clips. Then I would have to do it again.
