Home defense idea

I thought this was an interesting way to conceal weapons around the house.

A-10 I hope every member at G&G watch the tactical self defense video's. When my son came home from the police acadamy for the week ends he would have me practice these same manuvers with him. I had forgotten them.
Thanks for postting this and you know this should be something a family should practice together...A.H

The best home defense is to make getting into your house impossible in the first place.

Good post, but it would be nice if they ditched the intro/outro music; jeez that's annoying. As are his hand movements, but that's just an affectation he's got.

Put a gun in every room in the house even in the shower, and what about kids. How do you get to your gun if your caught with paints down, caught off guard that is.The gun belongs on you,or at bedtime on or in the nightstand.I think??

So...after seeing the video, who needs to buy one? Go purchase a rare earth magnet, drill a hole in it, and viola!

Lightbulb Idea

Well I just tried a magnet on my SS Loaded Champ and it barely stuck. I have four plastic holsters from Spring field that I have mounted around the place, that works for me. Put the rifle or shotgun over the inside of the door way in the closet, that's one they don't think of.
Armed and secure. If they come after me in the john, the smell will repel.

Well, it's going to depend on the sort of magnet.

A rare earth magnet is composed of rare earth elements and the magnetic field is usually far stronger than a ferrous magnet. Neodymium magnets are both stronger and cheaper than other rare earth magnets.

It's likely they're using those in the product anyway. Even a mostly polymer-framed pistol should stick to one by the barrel and slide.
