Thumbs up .45 Witness P Compact

I just bought a Witness P in .45acp. It just screamed my name when I saw it. I had just sold .45 paper weight, (Llama Omni .45 with trigger problems) and wanted another .45, and my wife and I went to a pawn shop where I had bought several other guns before including a Firestar Plus 9mm that I didn't really like. I ended up trading the Firestar Plus and $128 for the Witness. I miss having a 9mm but I love my EAA Tanfoglio Witness P .45acp. It seems to be very accurate, 1" low and 3" groups @ 20' and POA and 3" groups @ 30'. This was free hand and first time out with it. I expect better as I get to know my Italian companion better.
I would like to hear other peoples experiences and opinions on these wonderful (in my opinion) guns.

Not to be snide, so please don't take it that way, but I believe that you can get a slide and barrel for your Witness and make it a 9mm. I was thinking about getting one in 10mm, and having the additional slides and barrels for different calibers. Please let me know how yours turns out.

Congrats Don! The Witness is a fine weapon and the parts accessory selection is great. Many folks use these in competition and do extremely well with them. Jim is right also, you can convert yours to other calibers with parts available from EAA. Here's their link:
