P225 Questions

I have a few questions for you guys:

I recently bought a Sig sauer p225(p6)that was an imported german police trade in. The thing is in excellent condition besides the apparent exterior wear of beeing worn in a holster for along time. Other than that the thing fires and works like brand new, and i love it!

Allthough it is in great shape there is only one problem im having so i thought i would ask you guys. The problem im having with it is when im shooting the rounds seem to be going off to the left pretty bad. The Shots are lining up perfectly with the level of the bulleye but just to the left about 3-4 inches at 25 meters. Well I need to adjust the sights obviously but how to i do this? or am i doomed to take it to a gunsmith?. I know in some guns there is a adjustment screw around the sights but i can't seem to find one on my p6. That aside is the only problem im having so far. The only other question i have is a recomendation on night sights, Is there any other brand besides those trijcon ones and are the good?

Furthermore, i wanted to see if any of you guys have experince with or own a p225. Any thoughts, tips, tricks whatever would be cool. Hope to hear from you and thanks in advance.
Here the beast is:

If there's no lock screw on the rear site, it is probably drift-adjustable ie: you have to tap it over in the dovetail with a brass punch or block of hardwood. To bring the point of impact back to the right, the rear sight has to mave to the right. I don't know if they'll fit the import models but www.cheaperthandirt.com has factory Sig night-sights for around $60. www.cdnninvestments usually has them as well. Welcome to G&G!

If you have an indoor range with an armorer (or gunsmith) on site they can probably adjust your front and rear sight to that it hits point of aim. It's actually easy to see just by visual inspection and most (but not all of them) will use a SIG sight pusher. When I worked in parts and gunsmithing in a local gun shop we usually just used a padded vise, a brass punch, and a hammer. If you have these tools available just spray the sights and dovetails with a little spray lube, pay attention to which way your sights drift, and when done adjusting your sights hit them with a spray of Gunscrubber, and follow that up with a little cold blue on a Q-tip to blacked the metal. Be sure to spray some lube on the area you cold blue after to stop the rusting process. My favorite is Rem-Oil. Even though we had the manufacturer's tools they did not always fit every model of firearm they were designed for.
When it comes to night sights I would recommend Trijicon, Meprolight, or the new Tru-Glo fiber optic/tritium. I'm seriously considering the Tru-Glo because I am biopic (near and far sighted) for both my duty and off duty carry pistols.
Hope this helps you out.

I also have one of the sig p6's/225's, Mine had some holster wear but shot pretty dead on. You'd have to tap the sights much like the toolman said. I do think that 60 dollar night sight deal is tempting. I think you got the early import stamp, mines in a different location and looks a little neater. Nice shooting gun though. And a great deal, I got mine from centerfire systems.

I'd definitely put some night sights on it. That way not only do you have better sights, cause I cant even see an dots on your current sights, and you know that they are straight.
